Mike Jackson, Head of Investigations

Mike is EMM’s Head of Investigations specialising in investigation work primarily in support of EMM’s criminal cases.
Mike joined EMM in 2018 from the Serious Fraud Office, bringing with him a wealth of experience of bribery and corruption and investment fraud investigations. At EMM he advises on and implements investigation strategies to all types of cases and clients, and will regularly give witness evidence in cases that go to trial.
Mike’s key skills are an ability to manage, analyse and assimilate large volumes of complex data. Mike is able to navigate complex cases to devise the most efficient and practical way forward for an investigation. He then has the skills to go and gather that evidence to develop a case. This can be through gathering evidence from witnesses of other third parties, or intelligence gathering to further a case’s objectives.
